Bespoke LED’s and Bedroom Rewire

This was a really nice project for us, which consisted of a staged rewire. Essentially, this means if the full house needs rewiring, we rewire a room at a time to allow the client to decorate, manage the disruption, and move back into the space before we move on to the next room. This approach is particularly beneficial for families who want to maintain their normal daily routine while having major electrical work done. It also allows for a more flexible schedule, as the client can take their time with redecorating and settling back into each space before moving on to the next phase of the project.

In this instance, one of the key areas we focused on was a child’s bedroom. The room needed a complete electrical upgrade, and we had the opportunity to add some special features to create a truly unique space. Included in this bedroom were bespoke LED lights enclosed in specialist housing. These weren’t just your standard overhead lights – the LEDs were custom-fitted to provide a clean, sleek look that matched the modern aesthetic the family wanted to achieve. The housing for the LEDs was carefully selected to ensure a smooth finish and optimal light diffusion, making the room feel both bright and cozy.

A key aspect of the lighting design was the high-tech wall-mounted control system we installed. This system allows the young resident to adjust the lighting with ease, setting the perfect ambiance for studying, gaming, or relaxing. The control panel was designed to be intuitive and easy to use, with a variety of lighting modes that could be customized to suit different needs and moods. Whether the child wanted bright lights for homework or dimmed, ambient lighting for gaming, the setup offered maximum flexibility.

In addition to the bespoke lighting, we also fitted an array of brushed chrome sockets. These sockets weren’t just a practical necessity; they were chosen to match the room's modern design and added a touch of sophistication to the overall look. The brushed chrome finish is not only stylish but also durable, making it a perfect choice for a child's room where wear and tear can be a concern. To accommodate the child’s interest in gaming, we also installed a dedicated data point, ensuring that their gaming setup would have a reliable and fast internet connection. This feature was particularly important for this family, as the child’s gaming setup included multiple devices and required stable connectivity for online gaming.

One of the highlights of this project was seeing how everything came together to create a functional yet stylish space. The family was delighted with the results, and the child was especially thrilled with his new gaming-ready room.
